The course is being held at the Hotel del Coronado, 1500 Orange Avenue, Coronado,
CA 92118. The hotel, located on Coronado Island (just a few minutes drive across
the Coronado Bay Bridge from Downtown San Diego), is set on one of the most
beautiful beaches in California. Available recreational facilities include a
beautiful olympic size outdoor swimming pool; full health spa, exercise room,
sauna, and jacuzzi; and ocean-side walking and biking paths. The Coronado Golf
Course, overlooking the bay, is just minutes from the Del. Both gourmet and
causal dining facilities and many specialty shops are available within the hotel.
Coronado is just a short drive from Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park,
Old Town, the Wild Animal Park and Mexico.
February and March are in tourist season in San Diego and the Del is one of
its most popular resorts. If you plan to stay there, be sure to get your reservations
in early. A limited number of rooms have been reserved for course participants
and will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Rooms must be reserved
by January 24, 2009.

$284.00 per night single or double occupancy for Victorian rooms
- $284 + 8% tax + $22 Resort Fee (per room)
$314.00 per night single or double occupancy for Resort rooms

A Resort Charge is an automatic $22.00 per room, per night charge that covers a
number of hotel services and amenities that would customarily be charged to each
guest individually. The Resort Charge here at the Hotel del Coronado includes:
daily newspaper deliver (Monday Saturday), in-room coffee and tea, fitness center
access, fitness classes, local, 800, and credit card calls, high-speed Internet access,
and $20 discount off greens fees at La Costa Golf Course (prices are subject to change).
As a “per room” charge (versus per person), the Resort Charge covers all registered room
guests. In addition to the services listed above, this charge entitles our guests to
discounted attraction tickets to Sea World, Legoland, Wild Animal Park, the Old Town
Trolley, and Disneyland (discounts are subject to change and are not available for group events).
