Danielle Soranno, MD Indianapolis, IN USA Dr. Soranno is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Bioengineering at Indiana University School of Medicine. She is a pediatric nephrologist at Riley Hospital for Children and is a physician scientist. Her lab specializes in rodent models of acute kidney injury (AKI) and investigates the long-term renal and systemic outcomes and the role of sex as a biological variable in AKI. The Soranno lab also performs renal bioengineering research investigating the use of injectable hydrogels to abate the progression from acute-to-chronic kidney disease. |
