Marlies Ostermann, PhD London, Gr UNITED KINGDOM Professor Ostermann is a Consultant in Critical Care & Nephrology at Guy�s & St Thomas� Foundation Trust, London. After medical school in Goettingen (Germany), she did her postgraduate training in London and Canada. She holds a PhD degree from the University of Goettingen, an MD degree from the University of London and a postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education. She is an active member of the European Society of Intensive Care Society, Renal Association and Intensive Care Society UK. Her research interests include acute kidney injury in critically ill, all aspects related to renal replacement therapy and extracorporeal organ support.
